X-Men Dark Phoenix premiere – life drawing with AMC

Timed to coincide with the red-carpet premiere of the new X-men movie “Dark Phoenix” at Leicester Square, the Art Model Collective return to Orbital Comics shop with a session that takes us back to the roots of the Phoenix saga.

Drawing inspiration from the mutant mayhem of the original Marvel comics, our models evoke the flame-haired telekinetic Phoenix Jean Grey, and her cool as ice psi-powered rival Emma Frost, as the Black & White Queens of the Hellfire Club.

This dynamic, costumed life drawing session is suitable for all levels but aimed at providing a resource for comic artists, illustrators and designers.

So sharpen those pencils and grab your sketchbooks, it’s drawing time!

Starring:
Alysia Judge debuting at AMC as Jean Grey, the Black Queen / Marvel Girl / Phoenix, and
Manko as Emma Frost, the White Queen!

Hosted by artist Jason Atomic.
